Woo! /me finally gets to start posting power/energy management analysis tools! Right now it only contains "pwrkap", which shows a graph of historical power use, and uses cpufreq to cap power use. Note that capping power use does NOT NECESSARILY save you energy because of the race-to-idle phenomenon, but it is useful to control laptops burning your lap, giving the A/C a break, dealing with overcurrent situations, etc. I hope to have some more code up there soon. I'm hoping to start working on an energy profiler any day now. :P
