Linux Plumbers Conference: Speakers Chosen!

I'm organizing the "server issues" track at the upcoming Linux PlumbersConf in September, and have selected three talks for my track:
  • "Infrastructure for PCIe Endpoint Devices" - Arnd Bergmann - An increasing number of Linux based machines features PCI express ports that can be used as an endpoint…
  • "Physical PCI Slots" - Alexander Chiang - Using firmware data (DMI/ACPI/etc) to translate kernel device names to physical devices in PCI slots…
  • "Hiding ACPI" - Len Brown - Burying ACPI data in K/U “firmware” interfaces…
Three others didn't make the cut for the server MC but are still good enough to be in the conference overall:
  • "How to Talk to a Long-Running Process" - Bob Smith - Run Time Access (RTA) is a lightweight library that provides an intuitive interface that lets you view and edit data in a running process…
  • "Embedded virtualization with KVM: Yes, it does make sense!" - Hollis Blanchard - KVM on embedded PPC systems…
  • "Virtualized Development Infrastructure Management with Puppet: Beyond Cloning" - Teyo Tyree - Using Puppet to manage system images…
We have 43 speakers lined up for the PlumbersConf, talking about all sorts of things--video for linux, boot time reductions, the future of graphics, power management, debugging and tracing, kernel/userspace interfaces, displays and input devices, audio, and storage! If these topics interest you, please come to our conference! Tomorrow the full list of speakers will be posted on www.linuxplumbersconf.org, and on 8/18 the price goes up. (Is this at all relevant to _anyone_ who reads this blog?)
