Verizon

Verizon sent me a bill for $0.16. The bill came first class, metered at $0.37. Total net gain to them so far: -$0.21. I freaking hate them for wasting my time with such bullsh*t, so I replied with a check for $0.18. That'll cost me $0.55, with postage. If, however, they decide to send me a two-cent check (which they better), the total cost to them is $0.58 and $0.53 for me. All so they can collect a piddling amount of money that won't buy them a gumball.

I think I'm going to like becoming a grumpy old bastard.
