With all the recent flack about whether or not libraries should be forced to install content filters on the public access terminals to prevent people from looking at porn, I wondered, just how often do people use library computers to look at porn, anyway? Surely nobody would have so little self respect as to allow all the nearby library patrons clear access to examine their tastes in female body parts, etc. And certainly not where children can so easily see things that they probably ought not. I mean, really, don't these people have *somewhere* private to go?

So you can imagine how I felt when I walked into the Central Library on 9th Ave. today and saw some guy looking at girly sites. It wasn't even good porn, too; it was overpainted women with bust too ample and crotch too well shaved. What's worse, the site had Flash on it! Bah! People have no taste. At least he could have looked at a site with real jpegs...

Yeah. Bubble burst. Urgh. People _do_ look at porn in the library, in plain view of others. Gross.
